Wood Fired Steam Boilers
Wood fired steam boilers are manufactured as per latest IBR codes or as per ASME Section VII Division I standards. Boilers are of three pass conventional wet back design without refractory at the doors and give higher thermal efficiency.
Boilers are designed with high heating surface to match the industry standards. Grate area for the boiler is sized in such a way for effective usage of fuel to have a good combustion. Main furnace is provided with bowling hoops / stiffner rings to take care of expansion. Suitably fixed ID fans are used to meet the draft losses and maintain furnace draft.
Special design is used to have proper air openings to suit fuel size and quality. Proper boiler quality plates of SA516 Gr 20 is used in boiler shells, tube plates and furnace plates. Fine doors and ash discharge opening are ergonomically designed for easy fuel feeding and ash removal. Suitable pumps, valves, motors fan etc are sized and selected for the boiler
